DAY IN THE LIFE (DITL)

A Day in the Life (DITL) is a truly unique insight into what makes up a whole day at this moment in time. The love and laughter; tears and tantrums; your routines and nuances of 'everyday' life and everything in between.

It's important for you to understand it is just a normal family day. You do what you do, and I do what I do. There's no judgement from me. I focus on observing and documenting connection and emotion, and in equal measure, the personalities of each member of the family individually, and collectively.

Documenting the here and now matters because your life matters. The precious time we spend with our loved ones is fleeting and in a constant state of change. What would it mean to you in a year from now, or even 2 or 10, to be able sit down with your children and show them what it was like growing up in your home and being part of your family through the tangible means of the humble photograph?

Please contact me directly for further information about a DITL session and answers to the most frequently asked questions is available in my Welcome Guide.

DITL | FATHERS DAY 2018

For the better part of four years, my husband was on a FIFO roster with a month away at a time. He had returned to work when our son was 4 weeks old. During this time he was absent for many birthdays and special celebrations. I felt it was important to show him how much he was loved and missed. The older the children got, the more his absence became apparent. I'm so thankful to have documented this day - for him and also for our family. It's incredible looking at these photos from this one day - so much has happened; so many things have changed even in a few short years.
